A Time for Everything

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

In these times we are in and with so many varieties of struggles, trials and uncertainties, we must remind ourselves that there is a time for every activity under heaven.

VOTE ON NOVEMBER 8TH IN PERSON!

Our Constitutional Republic will only survive if we vote in person on election day to make sure that transparency and integrity are present in our elections.

Thank you to all of your who signed up to be poll watchers! Every precinct in Twin Falls county and Gooding County have been filled!

You are all poll watchers when you go in to vote.  If you see something or hear something, find the polling judge and ask to file a complaint.  Make sure you have it signed and take a picture of your complaint!

Election Integrity Idaho has been very instrumental in Twin Falls working with the County Clerk and the Twin Falls County Commissioners on ways to make our elections more transparent.

There is a Town Hall meeting on November 2nd at 5:30 p.m. in the County West Building, where Commissioner Don Hall will share the steps they have taken to ensure free & fair elections locally, and I will be sharing what can be done legislatively.

Preventative measures are always better than dealing with issues after they become a problem. This must be our goal in protecting Idaho elections!

Meet your District 24 Senate Elect Tailgate Tour

The goal and purpose of my listening tour is to make myself available and approachable in each of my 13 cities in District 24.

This has been a fun way to meet my constituents. I have had the privilege to visit seven cities (Rogerson, Castleford, Buhl, Filer, Hansen, Bliss and Hagerman) and have six on my schedule (Kimberly, Murtaugh, Hollister, Wendell, Gooding and Fairfield) to visit before November 8th.

My stop in Gooding will be October 31 from 4-6 p.m. Look to my November calendar to see the days I will be in the remaining cities.

November Calendar

Tuesday November 1st I will be on KLIX 1310 AM radio with Bill Colley at 9:00am. I will be sharing all the things I have been doing as your senator elect and what I have learned so far.
